This will be a great little day out.   I recently went to Jefferson, Georgia and enjoyed my day there a lot!  While there we will take in the Crawford Long Museum and Visitors Center.   He invented the first anesthesia here and you’ll learn about it at the museum.  It’s a small place, but worth the visit to discover the history of Dr. Long.  We’ll enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, and then head over to the Jarfly Antique Market.  It’s housed in an old cotton mill building and offers row after row of GREAT antique booths.  It’s a wonderful old building that has been repurposed, and they have done an amazing job with the booths.  I just loved it!    Afterward, we’ll make a stop in Braselton for some ice cream at Mayfield’s on the way home.   Sounds like a great day to me!   Antiques, History, Lunch, and Ice Cream!  Wahoo!!
