This is going to be a really fun NEW trip for us!  We are off to pretty Gay, Georgia to the Cotton Pickin’ Fair.  Since 1972 it has been a premier craft show and features a very unique venue.  The Gay family took their existing farm and decided that the old cotton gin and other farm buildings would become the backdrop for an antique, art, and craft festival used to promote the town of Gay and Meriwether County as a good place to live.  Since then the show has grown and civic clubs, schools, churches and a wide range of non-profit groups do all the festival food as fundraiser for the community.  What’s also unique, is each of the ‘old’ buildings on property now house the craft booths within the show.  These buildings include the cotton warehouse, the basketmaker’s cabin, the corn storage building, the cotton gin, the peach packing shed, and even the old company store.  All are in use thru out the festival, along with the festival grounds too.  It’s a wonderful location – and easy to walk around too.  It’s a big show too – with over 350 vendors (although some do share space in the buildings.)  While there you’ll enjoy the antiques, crafts, festival food with lunch on your own, and entertainment on three stages.  Hope you’ll want to join us on this fun, fun festival!

Price: $54 per person

Deluxe motorcoach, driver tip, festival admission, and snacks too.
