Take two! Experience two of the world’s most captivating cities: London and Paris! To help you make the most of your getaway, you’ll unpack just once in each city.
Your tour opens in London, the United Kingdom’s cosmopolitan capital. This evening, experience a new twist on classic British tradition as you join your new mates for a unique culinary experience in London’s famous Borough Market.
Join a local expert for a day in London. Begin with a panoramic tour highlighting the must-sees, including Trafalgar Square, the Tower of London, Big Ben, Kensington and Knightsbridge. Stop by Harrods, the jewel in the crown of London department stores — don’t miss the world-famous food hall! This afternoon, it’s your choice! Return to wartime Britain while exploring the Churchill War Rooms, the secret underground center of Britain’s government during WWII -OR- tour Westminster Abbey,* the coronation church of Britain’s monarchs from William the Conqueror to Elizabeth II.
After a hearty breakfast, enjoy a day to explore at your leisure. You may take an optional excursion to Windsor Castle: originally built to guard the city of London, Windsor Castle has been the home of kings and queens for nine centuries and is the oldest royal residence still in use today.
Hop the sleek, futuristic Eurostar High Speed Train to Paris. Arrive in the “City of Light,” Paris. A sophisticated metropolis featuring style, culture and history, its bustling city streets are filled with colorful history, regal pageantry, beautiful gardens, fascinating museums, celebrated monuments and grand theatres. Tonight, celebrate your arrival in Paris with a special dinner at the legendary Paradis Latin,** the city’s oldest cabaret theatre. Enjoy a sumptuous meal complete with wine, champagne and a delightful show.
It’s your choice! Come to know the highlights of Paris by coach or by Metro! Set out on a splendid panoramic coach tour that includes a stop to explore the impressive Notre Dame Cathedral -OR- for a truly Parisian experience, take in some of the most iconic sights by Metro. Either way you’ll see the Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame Cathedral, Champs-Elysees, Place de la Concorde, and the magnificent Place Vendome with a local guide. Write your own story during a free afternoon. You may choose an optional guided tour at the famous Louvre,*** indulge in some of the world’s best shopping on the Champs-Elysees, or simply do as the Parisians do and sit at a sidewalk café and watch the beauty that is Paris go by.
Give in to romance. Today is yours for the taking. Perhaps you will join an optional excursion to Louis XIV’s magnificent Palace and Gardens of Versailles*** and relive history as you walk through the various rooms of the State Apartments, including the Queen’s bed chamber and the famous Hall of Mirrors. Tonight, sample delicious French cuisine and witness breathtaking views during dinner at the Eiffel Tower. End the perfect day with a romantic Seine River cruise set against Paris’ glittering skyline.

Windsor Castle • $65pp
Step into the formal world of the British Monarchy when you visit the stately and expansive Windsor Castle. Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II uses Windsor as both a private home and as a Royal residence where formal duties of state are performed. Windsor’s 1,000 rooms comprise the largest inhabited castle in the world. It dates back to the 1070s, when William the Conqueror built the original wooden structure, now replaced by the grand stone edifices. Explore one of Britain’s most visited historic buildings, its precincts, and the State Apartments, which house a delightful collection of Royal art treasures. Enjoy time for lunch in the quaint town of Windsor before heading back to London. This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to visit the castle that houses so much British history and lore is not to be missed! Duration: Approximately 4.5 hours. The Louvre Museum • $110pp
Join us for a guided tour of the world-renowned Louvre Museum. Begin your exploration of the museum by entering through I. M. Pei’s famous Louvre Pyramid, a magnificent glass pyramid rising out of the courtyard of the Louvre. A local expert will provide commentary as you venture through the countless masterpieces that line the halls of the museum, including the Venus de Milo and the Mona Lisa. This option must be purchased and reserved no later than 180 days prior to tour departure date. It may not be available for purchase while on tour. Versailles Palace • $125pp
During your free afternoon, enjoy an interesting visit to the incomparable Palace of Versailles. The palace and gardens of Versailles reflect the extravagant tastes of King Louis XIV, the “Sun King.” On this excursion, travel by coach to Versailles where your local guide will recount the history of the palace and lead you through the various rooms of the State Apartments. Of particular interest are the Queen’s bedchamber and the famous Hall of Mirrors. You then have leisure time to explore the incredible gardens, some of the most famous in the world, which took over 40 years to complete.
Please note that the motorcoach is not permitted to drop off at the entrance to Versailles and the grounds of Versailles are quite large. Walking will be required to fully enjoy this excursion. An Evening in Paris • $110pp
This is your night! Your evening begins with dinner at a traditional restaurant, tucked away in the medieval streets of the Latin Quarter. Enjoy a French feast with unlimited wine accompanied by the strains of local musicians. As you bask in the warm hospitable glow, sit back, relax and soak up some authentic French culture. Complete your experience at Montparnasse Tower, the tallest skyscraper in Paris. Ascend to the 56th floor viewing level and head outside to the open roof terrace for an unrivaled view of the city.
