Charlotte at Christmas Time
November 16-17, 2018Two days and One night
This will be a festive little overnight trip. We’ll make our way to Charlotte on the first day with an included lunch in route. From there we go to the Southern Christmas Show at the beautiful Park Expo Center. While here you can surround yourself with the beautiful sights, joyful sounds, and yummy tastes that make this a holiday tradition in that area. It’s here that you’ll see extraordinary crafts, decorating ideas, and more than 500 festive merchants who share space that is decked out for the holidays. They also have a beautiful and charming Olde Towne set up for you to walk thru. I think it sounds so fun and festive! From there we will head to a brand new Drury Inn for our overnight. This great location features a local chain restaurant next door where you can enjoy dinner on your own or a cocktail, or you can choose to enjoy the free included Drury Inn Snack style dinner with complimentary beer and wine. Your choice!
The following morning it’s off to the Billy Graham Library for a quick visit. You’ll have time to visit his old homeplace, tour the library and museum, and take in their amazing gift shop. Afterwards, it’s on to NarrowWays for a matinee luncheon performance of their Christmas play. This lively production will feature singers and dancers, as well as telling the true story of Christmas. You’ll love the Real Story of Christmas. It will be wonderful and will get us ready for the upcoming Christmas season! From there we head back to Georgia full of Christmas cheer and goodwill! This is a brand new itinerary, and I’ve visited each of these places recently, so I hope you really like this trip!!
