Nashville and Beyond, Featuring a Dinner Show With Ray Stevens
April 10th – 12th, 2019
Three Days and Two Nights
This tour will be a great combination of downtown Nashville, Country Music history, tours beyond Nashville, and a great comedian and his new Dinner Theatre! Join us on this great new adventure. Our first day we will travel to Nashville and then visit the lovely Cheekwood Estate and Garden. It’s one of the areas hidden gems and is nestled on a 55-acre estate with a botanical garden, world-class art, and the fabulous Cheek family homes. The estate should be just overflowing with spring flowers this time of year too! I’m excited to visit!
The following morning we will take in another city landmark, the Belle Meade Plantation. Located just seven miles south of the city, this estate features historic farm buildings, lovely gardens, and a fabulous Greek Revival Mansion built in 1853. They turned over the estate for tours and special events, and they house a lovely restaurant on site too, so of course, we will have lunch here! Afterward, we’ll enjoy a bit of wine tasting too. It should be a lovely visit.
Our dinner this evening is planned at the all-new Ray Stevens Dinner Theatre! He has been entertaining audiences for years with his funny stories, quick humor, and great voice. Who can forget The Day The Squirrel Went To Church? Or The Streak……close your eyes, Ethel!!! Or his other hits like Everything is Beautiful and Misty? This state-of-the-art theatre is really something to see! I’ve seen the video of the new place and it’s awesome! You’ll be impressed!
Our last stop will be the Country Music Hall of Fame, which is right in downtown. It is a beautiful building and looks like a piano from the outside. It houses a brilliant collection of country music memorabilia, music and all the inductees to the hall of fame! It’s really something to see.
It’s going to be a fun time in Music City. It seems like we only go there for Christmas, so this little trip will give you a chance to see other beautiful spots around town, in town, and beyond! Yee Hah!
