Bakery Goods, Bar-B-Q and Waterfalls

How about a great little trip with wonderful food, a charming Mennonite bakery, and a beautiful waterfall?  This little trip is such a fine day out.  We’ll begin with a stop at the 211 Café in Lavonia, GA where you can shop for wonderful baked goods including cakes, cookies, sweet breads, and loaves of bread.  They also have a great selection of homemade meals that they freeze and they make terrific meals.  Bring a soft-sided cooler just in case!  Then it’s time to head over to the famous and delicious Gum Log Bar B Q!  It’s a local favorite too where you can enjoy bar b q, brisket, catfish and so much more.  It’s SO good!  We’ll then wander a bit through the country to the pretty campus of Toccoa College and take the short walk to their lovely 225-foot waterfall.   We can even visit the campus bookstore too.  This is a sweet little trip and a fine day out!
