National Cornbread Festival day trip

We are off to South Pittsburg, TN for this grand event!  It’s just west of Chattanooga.  This family friendly event features a variety of events including the cornbread cook off, live music, bustling vendor booths with crafts AND delicious food!  You can also enjoy sampling, cooking demonstrations and historic tours aboard a local trolley ($8 per person payable on site).  There’s something for everyone.  You can also visit the Lodge Factory store where you can buy cast iron skillets and more!  Their foundry is located right next door as well.  This day is fun and walking here is really easy on flat streets in town.  You’ll enjoy this festival so much.  Wear comfy walking shoes and depending on the weather a visor or hat as you’ll be outdoors while there.  After our fun stop, we will start home with a stop on Buc-ees!  Follow us to S. Pittsburgh and enjoy some cornbread!  YeeHaw!!
