Day-by-day Itinerary

Day 1: October 11, 2026 – Seattle, Washington

Celebrate the marking of America’s 250th anniversary with a journey from “the Cradle of the American Revolution” through the historic hubs of New York and Philadelphia and to the nation’s capital, Washington, D.C. Arrive in Boston, a city bursting with character and Revolutionary history. As arrival times will be scattered through the afternoon and evening, there are no scheduled activities today.

Day 2: October 12, 2026 – Seattle – Mt. St. Helen’s – Portland, Oregon

Today, venture to Lexington and Concord. Begin at Lexington Battle Green, where the first shots of the Revolutionary War were fired on April 19, 1775. With your local guide, continue to Concord on a drive that follows the same path that British troops marched that day. Along the road, learn more about Concord’s historical significance, a town home to literary figures like Ralph Waldo Emerson, Henry David Thoreau, and Louisa May Alcott. Step inside Wright Tavern in the center of Concord, where the minutemen and militia gathered before battle, and see the Old Hill Burying Ground. Head to the exact spot where the “shot heard ’round the world” was fired – the Old North Bridge. And at Robbins House, explore stories of the home’s former inhabitants with notable ties to African American history. This evening, celebrate the start of your journey with a welcome dinner in Boston’s famed North End.

Day 3: October 13, 2026 – Portland – Columbia River Gorge – Portland

Drive along the Mt. Hood route to the lush Columbia River Gorge. Take in the unforgettable views of Mt. Hood as you leave the valley and enter the Cascade Mountains. Discover the awe-inspiring landscapes of the magnificent Columbia River and Multnomah Falls, a 611-foot-tall roaring cascade. Later, learn about the lavender growing process during a walking tour of the farm where this beneficial perennial herb is grown. Tonight, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 4: October 14, 2026 – Portland – willamette Valley – Newport – North bend (Oregon Coast)

Start your morning like a New Yorker with breakfast at a local diner. Then, delve into historic New York on a blended panoramic and walking tour. Glimpse into Central Park, pause beside the poignant 9/11 Memorial, see St. Paul’s Chapel, where George Washington prayed following his inauguration, and view Trinity Church, where Alexander Hamilton was laid to rest. Convene for lunch at New York’s most historic tavern – a favorite watering hole among several Founding Fathers, where George Washington famously gathered with a group of officers to celebrate after the last British troops left American soil. The rest of the day is yours to spend as you wish. This evening, if you choose to join an optional dinner and show, take a seat at one of Broadway’s biggest hits: Hamilton !** Experience the revolutionary musical that shines a spotlight on Founding Father, Alexander Hamilton.

Day 5: October 15, 2026 –  North Bend – Bandon Natural Area – Redwood National Park – Eureka, CA

Drive to Bandon State Natural Area. Take in the breathtaking scenery as we travel along the striking Beach Loop. See Bandon Rocks and Face Rock, famous for their American Indian legends. Stop to enjoy a cruise up the spectacular Rogue River, taking you into Oregon’s rugged wilderness for a chance to see bald eagles, cormorants, seals, and blue herons. Continuing south to California’s redwood country, travel through Redwood National Park, home to trees that can reach nearly 300 feet. See for yourself why the sun seldom hits the ground.

Day 6: October 16, 2026 – Eureka – San Francisco

Return to the majestic beauty and splendid grandeur of the redwood forest as you traverse the “Avenue of the Giants,” a scenic highway loaded with towering redwoods. Next, drive over the legendary Golden Gate Bridge and arrive in “the City by the Bay,” San Francisco. Tonight, enjoy dinner on your own at one of the many restaurants in this eclectic city.

Day 7: October 17, 2026 – San Francisco
Westin St. Francis – Breakfast & Lunch

Today, join a local guide on a city tour of San Francisco’s iconic landmarks and neighborhoods including Chinatown, North Beach, Portsmouth Square, “the birthplace of San Francisco”, Haight-Ashbury and Alamo Square. After a farewell lunch, enjoy a cruise on San Francisco Bay where the highlight is a sail under the majestic Golden Gate Bridge with a close-up look at Alcatraz Island.

Day 8: October 18, 2026 – San Francisco – Tour Ends
