Forest Hills Wagon Ride and dinner with Entertainment

This trip was so popular last year that we decided to do it again because everyone had so much fun!  We’ll begin with a late start around noon and then make our way up to Dahlonega where you will have free time to enjoy this lovely mountain town! It’s one of the best small towns in the Georgia mountains.  While there perhaps you’d like to try some wine at the local wine shop, purchase chocolates, or browse at one of the many shops that line the historic square.   You’ll even have time to grab a light bite of lunch too. There is so much to choose from!  Afterwards we head to the Resort to enjoy a great time.  We’ll begin with a visit to their giftshop where you can purchase wine that they have selected from some of the better wineries from the nearby area.  You’re welcome to bring that to dinner with you. (Or bring yours from home.)  Then it’s time to enjoy a wagon trail ride with up to 5 wagons taking us to the creek side Riverhouse.  There is where our meal which will be cooked on an outdoor grill – Cowboy style!    It features steak, chicken, baked beans, coleslaw, potato salad, ice tea and cobbler for dessert. Our visit with also included live entertainment which will just add to the fun! After a relaxing dinner, we board the wagons to ride back to our bus and then drive back to the clubhouse where we should arrive around 9:00 pm.   What a great way to spend a summer evening!  Get along little doggies, we’re going to have big fun! Price:  $139 per person includes deluxe motorcoach, driver tip, downtown time, wagon ride, dinner with staff tip for all the servers and ‘cowboys’, snacks while on the bus, and tour director.
