Happy Hauntings in Savannah

Happy Hauntings in Savannah

10 SEATS AVAILABLE!
THREE DAYS AND TWO NIGHTS

Halloween is in the air and we’ll be visiting one of Georgia’s most haunted cities!  Or so they say!   What we’ll mostly be doing is enjoying some history, taking fun tours, hearing great music, and cruising on the Savannah River.  It’s going to be a great late fall getaway!  We LOVE Savannah and it offers a host of activities during this festive time of year.   Come with us to experience this gorgeous Georgia city and take in all the charm of this historic town. We’ll be staying near the heart of downtown at the beautiful Embassy Suites.   You can enjoy a cooked-to-order hot breakfast each morning AND enjoy their manager reception each evening with beer, wine, and refreshments.  Join us as we take in all these fun, hauntingly fantastic plans:

  • Haunted Trolley Tour – we’ll hear all about the history of these lovely streets and some of the ghost stories too. This driving tour will showcase all the city sites of the historic district and take us around many of its famous squares. The trolly can get us to spots our bus can’t!
  • Included lunch on the way to Savannah.
  • Included lunch on River Street.
  • Evening dinner cruise on the Savannah Riverboat, which features great gospel-style entertainment.
  • A visit to the City Market, where we’ll see those amazing pralines being made at the Savannah Sweets Company.
  • An evening performance at the Savannah Theater! This show is going to be fantastic with its upbeat tunes and great dancers!  It will be one of the highlights of your trip.
  • Free time on River Street to visit their wonderful shops for some last-minute shopping.
  • Lunch at The Lady and Sons Restaurants, a Paula Deen place with her awesome buffet and gift shop too! It’s a great location and the food there is still really good!
  • Dinner with some Halloween pirates at The Pirate House, one of the oldest buildings in the city, with lots of famous ghost stories! Now where does that tunnel under the restaurant take us?!
  • A visit to the American Prohibition Museum, which will transport you to the time of prohibition. Their costumed guides will have many stories to tell and they have lots of exhibits and artifacts to see as well.  Later we’ll stroll into their ‘Speak Easy’ for a little liquid libation!  It’s a great location on Franklin Square as well.

I’m excited about this little getaway to a city that we love. Check it out and join us for some great Halloween fun!
