Join us for this fantastic Christmas time trip to the beautiful Smoky Mountains in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

Our tour will include two nights at the incredible DreamMore Resort, which is surrounded by the mountains and is minutes away from the Dollywood Theme Park.  It features incredible rooms with great views, multiple restaurants, indoor pool, full-service spa, daily full breakfast, and complimentary trolley to Dollywood. Trip will leave at 8:00 am and return by 6:30 pm.  It will give us a great location to enjoy all of the following:

• Included late breakfast at the Dillard House on our way there. It’s always yummy!!
• Authentic fun in Dollywood for an afternoon and evening at the Park.  While there you’ll be treated to high energy entertainment, award winning dining and friendly service.   In addition to rides, shopping, and the most incredible Christmas lights you have ever seen, the Park has the following shows: 

  • Dolly Parton Experience, Forever Country, Celebrity Theater with their famous Christmas Show, Parton’s Kin and Friends Show, Heartsong film about the Smokey’s, The Kingdom Heirs Gospel Show, and the Smoky Mountain String Band.  We’ll arrive when they open at 3:00 and the rest of the day you are free to enjoy!  If you want to return to the resort early, shuttles will be available too.   It’s going to be a fantastic time!

• A stop at the Oconaluftee National Park Service Visitor Center is also planned as we enter the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. They have a wonderful visitor center and gift shop. I’m hoping we see their famous elks outside too.  We’ll then follow the mountain through the park to take in the views!
• Evening performance of the Dolly Parton Stampede Dinner Show. This high energy show features over 32 horses with amazing skills.  During this season they will also have a moving Story of Christmas performance as well.   It’s truly beautiful and will remind us of the real reason for the season.
• A visit to The Island, a 23-acre entertainment spot which is pure fun and has amazing Christmas lights with their lights and water show too. You’ll also find great places to enjoy your lunch on your own, moonshine sipping opportunities, shopping, and their famous Ferris wheel.
• A visit to Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant where we will enjoy an included lunch before we cross the mountains to come home. This property is the last remaining active apple farm in the area and their store features apple butter, bakery items, and all things apple.   They also have a wine shop, Christmas shop and lots more.  It’s a really pretty stop!
