Pigeon Forge at Christmas Time!

Our trip to the beautiful Smoky Mountains will feature great holiday music, thousands of Christmas lights, and wonderful meals! We love this area during the holidays and a highlight will be the elegant luncheon ‘on board’ the themed dining room of the Titanic Exhibit!  The town is just full of Christmas cheer and we will be there to take it all in.  We have a busy couple of days for everyone, so check out these great plans:

• Late Breakfast/Brunch at the newly reopened Dillard House on the way there.  We love their family feast!

• Stop at the Old Mill Complex with its lovely river location and beautiful shops.

• Elegant luncheon on board the Titanic Exhibit in their ‘dining room’.  It’s a fabulous affair and we’ll get to see the museum which has a lot of changes since we were there last.

• Fabulous show at the Country Tonite Theatre – a favorite of the group!  It’s a little bit country and a lot of great Christmas music too!  It’s always a hit!

• Visit to the Christmas Shoppe with their amazing showrooms and holiday goodies!

• Fantastic and fun show at the Comedy Barn!   This show will be just the ticket for good clean comedy, clogging, funny animals and lots to tickle your funny bone!  Can’t wait to laugh!

• Stop at Three Bears for great local shopping for souvenirs.  They have an incredible selection!

• Visit to the Island Complex for shopping and free time to take in their water and lights show!

• Lunch and shopping at the Apple Valley complex.  We love their bountiful lunch and shopping in their Apple Barn shops too!  It’s always fun to take home gifts from here!

• Driving tour of the city with the millions of Christmas lights through town.  Maybe this year we will remember the 12 Days of Christmas!

• Rest stop in the Smoky Mountains to take in the views and the great National Park Service visitor center.

New this year – we will be staying at the brand- new Drury Inn!  I’ll make sure each evening that we are there for their included Quick Start evening reception with FREE cocktails and a light dinner too!  We love this and we’ll enjoy this new location which works out perfect for our touring! Note:  as you consider this trip please be mindful of the MANY stops that we will be making everyday.  LOTS of on and off the bus.  It’s a very busy trip.
