Opryland at Christmas

I can’t think of a more beautiful and festive place to be at Christmas than the Gaylord Opryland Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee!  This fabulous resort features over 2000 rooms under one roof and it is transformed into ‘A Country Christmas’ like no other!  It is decorated with over 3 million lights, 15 miles of garland, and 10 miles of hand tied red ribbons.   There are hundreds of decorated trees; over-the-top ornaments; and dozens of holiday displays through-out the property.  It is simply put, spectacular! You’ll want to spend part of an evening just walking around to take it all in!   We have a fabulous package lined up while we are there and our stay will include the following:

• 3 nights lodging in deluxe rooms at the Opryland Resort, now a Marriott property!
• A new dinner show on property, which this year features a unique Cirque theme!  It will be absolutely amazing.   We’ll have a delicious dinner in one ball room and then head over to the show in the other ballroom.  So excited about this one!  The holiday production has dazzling acrobatics, magic and will bring a whole new level of wow!  This will be an incredible night right on property!
• A luncheon cruise on board the General Jackson with fabulous entertainment as you cruise the pretty Cumberland River. The show is really something special.  It’ll be great performers signing country and Christmas!
• A visit to ICE! – with it’s beautiful and colorful ice sculptures…..and the famous ice slides!!  Everyone will want to do this.  While here you’ll slip in to the famous long blue jackets and take in all the ice sculptures.   They are absolutely amazing!  The life size Nativity Scene is awesome too. Fun stop!!
• A ride on the Delta River Flatboats on property where you’ll be transported to New Orleans.
• An evening performance at the famous Ryman Auditorium downtown with the incredible Vince Gill and Amy Grant.  This show is fantastic and you will thoroughly enjoy it!   It’s worth the trip!
• Free time to take in the decorations, shops, and all the Christmas spirit you can find anywhere!
• A downtown Nashville city tour with a local guide.  You won’t believe how this city has grown!  You’ll have some free time after the tour where you can spend some time on Broadway Street.  Which country stars new place do you want to visit? You can visit their club, shop and take in dinner on your own before the Vince and Amy Show!
• We’ll enjoy an included lunch at the Dutch Maid Bakery which is always a fun stop! It’s Tennessee’s oldest bakery and they love hosting groups!  Great place to shop too for goodies!!
• On the way home, we’ll stop in Bell Buckle for an included lunch at their famous café!  You’ll have a little shopping time while there too in their cute shops that line Main Street.
