We’re off to pretty Flatrock, North Carolina, to enjoy a great day out!  We’ll start with an included lunch at Cracker Barrel, then make our way to the 2:00 show. Located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, this charming small venue is the NC State Theatre.   They really do a terrific job!   Footloose is based on the 1984 film starring a young Kevin Bacon.  It tells the story about Ren, a big city teen who moves to a rural small town where dancing is banned.   The local minister, Rev. Moore, made sure that local teens wouldn’t be led astray!  Well, of course, Ren falls for the preacher’s daughter, Ariel.   The story goes that the teens then hatch a plan to have a dance!  You’ll remember the dynamic song and dance numbers from the movie.   It will be fantastic at Flatrock!   You’ll want to get up and dance yourself!  This is going to be a really fun and nostalgic show!
