Historic Warm Springs and Scenic State Park Drive

This area is surprisingly beautiful in the fall, and you’ll enjoy the color!  We’ll start in the charming town of Warm Springs.  While there, you’ll have a bit of time to browse the local shops, and then it’s time for a delicious included lunch at the Bulloch House.  We love this restaurant, which is located in a historic location.  Lunches are bountiful here with their amazing buffet.  From there, we meander through FDR State Park and stop at Dowdle Knob, a favorite area where the President used to drive to.  It has a beautiful view from this spot.  We’ll then continue on this scenic route and end up in the Callaway Gardens area, and we’ll stop at their country store!  I just love this day tri,p and I know you will too!
