Macon – Where Soul Lives

There is so much musical history in Macon and we are going to see ‘Where Soul Lives’!  It’s truly the epicenter of southern rock and soul. They have also recently revived their downtown area, so it will be great to experience this tour to showcase all the great music from there. We’ll begin in the interactive visitor center and see the time line of all the music greats from there – Little Richard, Otis Redding, Jason Aldean, the Allman Brothers and SO many more!  Then a step on guide will join us for a fun city tour, featuring lots of music and sights around town.  Then it’s time for an included lunch at a local restaurant.  After, it’s on to the Big House – the famous home of the Allman Brothers.   This once home, turned museum has the world’s largest collection of their memorabilia.  This is going to be a fun tour with lots of music history and so many stories!  I’m excited about it!
