Peach Time! It’s Our Annual Trip!

It’s time for our annual peach trip!  We will head down to middle Georgia  to take in two peach stops.  First up will be Pearson’s Farms, which is a small, family-owned production outside of Fort Valley.  You’ll have time to shop and perhaps enjoy some peach ice cream too!  Then it’s on to Dickey Farms, which is just a bit north of our first stop.  They have a very inviting ‘front porch’ style location with lots of white rocking chairs.   You can buy peaches, produce, canned items, and of course enjoy ice cream too.  After all this shopping it’s time to enjoy a delicious family style lunch at Buckner’s – home of the very best fried chicken in the state!  It, along, with another entrée is served with a host of homecooked vegetables and of course cobbler for dessert.  This is always a really fun little trip and there’s plenty of room to bring back as many cases of peaches that you want!
