Please sign up by Sept. 1.  I know it seems early to sign up by, but I have to notify the Bistro there about our lunch numbers and whether we have enough people to move forward with the trip.  If our numbers are low, they may not want to continue to hold the space for us there.  Not my rule, but their request.

FYI:  Many of you have been asking for leave times and return times on trips:

Leave at 8:00 am from the clubhouse; Return between 5-5:30 pm.

There are NO refunds after September 19 as the final count and payment is due to the restaurant.

Join us as we travel to the mountains to enjoy a delightful day!  We’ll start with a stop at the Tallulah Gorge State Park.  We’ll have time to visit their interesting visitors center, visit the restrooms, and allow for folks to enjoy the short walk to the overlook of the Gorge.  It’s a 1000-foot-deep gorge and features lovely waterfalls too.  It’s a pretty stop and a true gem in the state park system.  We’ll then cross over into Long Creek, South Carolina to visit the outstanding Chattooga Belle Farm.  This lovely spot features a 360-degree view of the surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains as you overlook this 200-acre family farm.  While there we will enjoy a delicious included lunch, savor a glass of their wine, and soak in this incredible spot. They will also talk to us about the wine that they offer.  You can visit their farm store to purchase apples, jams, local treats, and wine as well.  Next door they also have a Distillery that you can visit and try some of their spirits too!  Afterward, we’ll meander into lovely downtown Clayton, which has become quite a destination with its wonderful shops and local flavors.  This promises to be a relaxing day in the mountains with great views, a tasty lunch, and great stops too!  Join us!
