Join your friends for a wonderful 4 day and 3-night trip to Myrtle Beach! We’ll be staying at the Avista Resort which features indoor corridors, full kitchens, full-service restaurant, pool, lounge, fitness room and so much more at this beachfront property! You can soak in the ocean views right from your rooms! You will have an included buffet breakfast each morning at their ocean view restaurant. We have a fun filled itinerary planned for you with great shows and wonderful food too! Let’s just see what all we have planned for you!
We will leave at 8:00 AM and then travel to the beach! Upon arrival we will check into our hotel and then enjoy a special dinner planned for us on property. We’ll then have time to enjoy the wonderful Christmas show at the Greg Rowles Legacy Theater which should be a lot of fun and very entertaining! We loved it last time!!
The following morning we’ll rest up a bit and then go to Barefoot Landing to enjoy a lunch cruise on the Barefoot Queen Riverboat on the Inter Coastal Waterway. It’s a relaxing tour and lunch. We’ll follow that for a matinee show at the Alabama Theatre for ‘The South’s Grandest Christmas Show’. This show is full of singers of all ages, talented dancers, and musicians too. It’s a beautiful production! Next up is dinner at the always delicious Benjamin’s Seafood Buffet. Can you say crab legs? You won’t leave hungry!! Then it’s on to Carolina Opry and their incredible Christmas Show. It’s known as the Show of the South and is an unforgettable holiday experience. It features talented vocalist, musicians, a funny comedian and the All That clogging group. It will be awesome! Wow! What a day!!
The following day, after a leisurely breakfast, we’ll visit Duplin Winery for some wine tasting and a visit to their awesome gift shop. Then it’s time for lunch on your own, and a visit to Broadway at The Beach. They have a host of great shops, restaurants and a beautiful boardwalk around their property. Mid afternoon we will drive to beautiful Brookgreen Gardens. We’ll be there during the Nights of a Thousand Candles event. It will be spectacular! During this walking tour there will be more than 2,800 hand lit candles and countless sparkling lights. Hundreds of trees will be covered with lights and will show off the 2000 sculptures that highlight this amazing garden. The lights on the trees will showcase these amazing sculptures. There will be Christmas music, carolers, and much more. It’s sure to be a highlight of this trip. Afterwards we’ll enjoy a late dinner at Captain George’s Seafood Buffet, which is wonderful! Crab legs too!
The following day it’s time to head back to Georgia with our hearts full of the Christmas cheer! We should be home between 5-6:00 PM. Join us!
